You may ask yourself, what is a HumDinger. We looked it up online after Mrs. Fulton invited us to her art studio to photograph a few of her student’s humdingers. A HumDinger is defined as a remarkable or outstanding person or thing of its kind. We sent a camera down to the art studio where Mrs. Fulton showed us how one of her Ceramics classes are coming along. Take a look.
Course Selection Process
At St. Rose High School, you have more choices! With our rotating drop schedule, students can take 4 more electives during their time here. That means more course offerings.
The course selection process for the 2023-2024 school year is underway. Please take a moment to watch the video below as the Guidance team outlines the steps for choosing courses and reviews expectations and timelines. Then complete the course selection process when the portal is opened for your class. (see timeline below)
Remember, not all courses offered are available to all students. Many have prerequisites that must be met. If you have any questions, please stop by and see your guidance counselor.

Every person learns differently and our teachers design teaching activities to meet the diverse needs of their students.
Mrs. Carlotz's English classes are creating model microcosms in order to demonstrate their understanding of Golding’s concept of microcosm in the novel, Lord of the Flies.
On Saturday, January 28th, St. Rose's Pipe & Drum Band had their annual fundraiser dinner.
Their humble beginnings started on St. Patrick's Day in 2020, just two days before you know what happened, happened!
This past summer members of the Band spent time in Scotland.
There's so much history in between. Watch the presentation to the right prepared by Mrs. Weingarten which highlights the milestones of our
Pipe & Drum Band!

COMPLETE B6-T
START HERE
ST. ROSE HIGH SCHOOL
We have already begun working to secure transportation from the public schools for the 2023-2024 school year. Linked here is the New Jersey State DOE Application for Private School Transportation, also known as the B6T form. It is very important that the B6T is completed by everyone regardless of whether you plan on utilizing bussing services or not.
The form is online which will streamline and expedite the B6T Application process and provide parents with a record of the information submitted. In accordance with state procedures, we will be sharing the completed applications with the public school district where you reside. Then, based on need and availability your district will make a decision regarding your child’s eligibility for bus services or consideration for Aid in Lieu.
Please click here and complete the form for each of your children. Forms must be submitted before February 15, 2023.
If you have any questions or need help reach out to our Transportation Coordinator, Eileen Wesley at ewesley@srhsnj.com

day of service
On Monday, Jan. 30th, we're
participating in a "Day of Service."
A representative from the Blessing Bag Brigade will be visiting the school to share about their ministry and invite us to participate in constructing "Blessing Bags" which are given to the poor and homeless in our area.
If you are interested in participating, or for more information, contact Mr. Petrillo.
monday, january 30th
Participants do not need to bring in completed bags, but can bring in packs of one item (package of socks, pack of soap, multipack of toothbrushes, etc.) Once the items are in, we would parce them out into their respective bags (a 6 pack of socks would contribute to 6 blessing bags).
Vocation's Day
Thursday, febraury 2nd
Members of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal will be visiting our school. They will be sharing about their life and vocations with religion classes throughout the day, and joining us for a special Mass
